Groovie Studio London was born from the friendship between co-founders Onur Polat and Yavuzcan Çetin, sparked by their shared love for blues, guitar and the technology.
After Onur returned from Stockholm to Istanbul, the two decided to create a record label together — a home for independent artists. Inspired by the Sound City and Muscle Shoals documentaries, they envisioned a label that blends the soul of analog with a modern, forward-thinking approach.
Together, they set out to build a creative, technology-driven, and independent platform that discovers new talent while preserving cultural heritage. Groovie exists to tell artists’ stories with authenticity, while maintaining a bold and innovative stance in the industry.
Today, Groovie Studio London produces projects ranging from debut singles to tribute albums, sync collaborations, and cultural events — always staying true to its rebel spirit and commitment to real music and authentic storytelling.
